Resolution 9586 RESOLUTION NO. 9586 WHEREAS, Agreements have been heretofore prepared by the terms of which various hotel operators of the City of Miami Beach, in consideration of benefits which will accrue to such operators, have agreed to pay over to the City an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the gross room revenue accruing to the operators from conventions booked and held in said City during the period extending from August 6, "1957 to . August 31, 1958 , and WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms of said agreements and deems it to be to the best interest of the City that said agreements be entered into, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute in the name of and on behalf of said City tho paid a.grc �me;it whi rh is as follows : AGREEMENT dated August 6, 1957, between the City of Miami Beach and Phil Mayer for the Lombardy Hotel.
