SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
SK-233 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the southerly
side of Washington Court from Washington Avenue to
Twenty-second (22nd) Street and on the southerly.
side of Twenty-second (22nd) Street from Washington
Court to a point at or near seventy-five (75) feet
easterly.
As said Court, Avenue and Street are shown on Plat
recorded in Plat Book Forty-five (45) , page forty
(40) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as the said Twenty-second (22nd) Street is
named and designated in Ordinance 232 and the said
Washington Avenue is named and designated in Ordin-
ance 303.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and spe-
cifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during con-
struction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein
provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each
front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-233 and is
described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
the southerly side of Washington Court and ly-
ing between Washington Avenue and Twenty-second
(22nd) Street, and abutting on the southerly
side of Twenty-second (22nd) Street and lying
between Washington Court and a point at or near
Seventy-five (75) feet easterly.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-233, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SK-233.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of Sep -ember, A. D 1957.
