Resolution 9627 RESOLUTION NO. 9627
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That on and after the 6th day of November, 1957 , all with-
drawals of funds from the City of Miami Beach account in the
MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK OF MIAMI BEACH designated as "City of Miami Beach
Library Account" shall be on printed checks of the City of Miami Beach,
designated "City of Miami Beach Library Account" , which checks shall have
printed across the lower edge thereof the words "NOT GOOD IN EXCESS OF
$200.00", each check approved by the signature of Ruth W. Perry, as
Acting Head Librarian, and each bearing the facsimile signatures of R.
Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk, and Morris N. Lipp, as Assistant City
Manager, in the colors and with the background and other identifying
symbols as imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and made a part
hereof; or each check may be manually signed by the Acting Head Librarian,
as above, together with two (2) additional manual signatures, as follows :
By R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By D. J. Cleary, as Deputy City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By W. B. Leddy, as Deputy City Clerk,
countersigned by
Claude A. Renshaw, as City Manager,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Morris N. Lipp, as Assistant City Manager,
or in the absence of both or their inability to act
for any reason
By Margaret L. MacKay, as Secretary.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized to use said facsimile signatures
in connection with said account.
SECTION 2 . That a certified copy hereof be delivered to the cantile
National Bank of Miami Beach.
