Resolution 9649 RESOLUTION NO. 9649
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach1� Florida,
is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as The
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida", and the maps
attached thereto and made a part thereof, so as to exclude from the
"BB" Business District and to include in the "BC" Business District,
as said Districts are set forth and defined in said ordinance, and
in an appropriate Area District as said districts are defined in
said ordinance, those certain parcels of land situate in Miami Beach,
Dade County, Florida, described as follows, to wit:
Lots 1 through 14, Block 13, ALTON BEACH
REALTY COMPANY'S SUBDIVISION; and Lots 1,
2, 9 and 10, Block 13A, ISLAND VIEW ADDITION,
according to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 9 at page 146 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida;
The East half (E2) of Lots 1 through 8,
Block 14; the East half (E-) of Lots 2
through 10, Block 16; and Lots 3 through
10, Block 16A, all in ISLAND VIEW SUBDI-
VISION, according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 6, page 115 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
The East half (Es) of Lots 1 and 2,
Block 14A, ISLAND VIEW ADDITION, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 9,
page 144 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and the same
is hereby called to be held on the 15th day of January, 1958, at
11:30 a.m. o'clock, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by Public Notice thereof, published
in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper—of general circulatirn in said
City.
