Resolution 9661 RESOLUTION NO. 9661
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending Section 22 of Ordinance No. 289,
commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida", so that the same, in addition to its present
provisions, shall further provide :
1. That the Board of Adjustment shall not
vary or modify any regulation or provision of
said ordinance until a public hearing has been
held. Notice of such hearing shall be given by
mail to the owners of record of land lying within
375 feet of the property the use, construction or
alteration of which is proposed to be changed.
and
2. That the concurring vote of four members of
the Board of Adjustment shall be necessary to reverse
any order, requirement, decision or determination of
any administrative official, or to decide in favor of
the applicant any matter in which it is required to
pass under said ordinance, or to effect variation thereof .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and
the same is hereby called to be held on the 5th day of February,
1958 at 11 :00 a.m. o 'clock, in the Council Chambers, City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by Public Notice thereof,
published in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general circu-
lation in said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, A.D. 1958 .
