Resolution 9662 RESOLUTION NO. 9662
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City
and the inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for public park purposes,
that certain parcel of land situate, lying and being in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, and described as follows, to wit:
Tract "B" of RESUBDIVISION OF
HIBISCUS ISLAND, according to
the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 34E at page 87 of the
Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is
necessary that the fee simple title to the above described property
be acquired for development, use and maintenance for public park
purposes for the benefit of said City and the inhabitants thereof,
and that the City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to institute the necessary legal proceedings in the name
of said City in the exercise of its right of eminent domain for
the condemnation of said property for public park purposes.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, A.D. 1958.
