A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MONTH TO MONTH
EXTENSION OF THE CURRENT AGREEMENT WITH PROFESSIONAL
COURSE MANAGEMENT (PCM), FOR A PERIOD NOT TO EXCEED 90
DAYS OR UNTIL SUCH TIME AS A NEW AGREEMENT IS EXECUTED,
WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Request for Proposals (the "RFP") 2018-146-WG for golf
course operation and management services, the City Manager made an award recommendation
to the Mayor and City Commission, which was originally scheduled to be considered by the City
Commission at its meeting on September 12, 2018 (Agenda Item C7R); and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has deferred the award recommendation on the RFP until
a later date; and
WHEREAS, the current agreement with Professional Course Management (PCM), the
current provider of golf course operation and management services, expires on September 30,
2018.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Commission hereby accept the recommendation of the City Manager to extend the current
agreement with Professional Course Management, for a period not to exceed 90 days or until a
replacement is executed, whichever occurs first. 1

RECOMMENDATION
Adopt the Resolution.
ANALYSIS
I have defeued the award recommendation on Agenda Item C7R, pursuant to Request for Proposals (RFP) 2018-186-WG,
originally scheduled to be considered at the September 12,2018 City Convrission meeting,until the October 17,2018 meeting.
CONCLUSION
Given that the current agreement with Professional Course Management (PCM) expires on September 30, 2018, I am
recommending that the Mayor and City Comrission approve the Resolution authorizing the extension of the current agreement
with PCM for a period not to exceed 90 days or until such time as a new agreement is executed,whichever occurs first
