The purpose of this Letter to Commission is to invite you to join us at the 1st Annual City of Miami
Beach Youth Job Fair, to be held at the Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Avenue) on
Friday, October 5, 2018 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
At the request of the City's Youth Commission, and as a joint effort between Parks and
Recreation, TCED and ODPI, the City reached out to local businesses to coordinate a job fair,
aimed at recruiting high school age youth for potential employment.
To date , the following businesses will be participating in the fair:
• Dr. Marc Ulmas, MD (Orthopedic Surgeon, Mt. Sinai)
• Crystal Clear Tutors (Standardized Test Preparation)
• Urban Resources (Property Management and Real Estate)
• Alton Sports in Motion (Tennis Pro Shop)
• Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Shop (Lincoln Road)
• South Beach Boxing (Fitness Center)
The Youth Commission and all school Parent Teacher Student Associations are working to
promote the upcoming event.
