Resolution 9718 RESOLUTION NO. 9718
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City
and the inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for public park
purposes, that certain parcel of land situate, lying and
being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, and described as
follows, to wit :
Lot numbered "Tract "B" of HIBISCUS ISLAND
of the Biscayne Bay Islands Company' s Group,
as per plat recorded in Plat Book i3 at page
75 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is
necessary that the fee simple title to the above described
property be acquired for development, use and maintenance for
public park purposes for the benefit of said City and the
inhabitants thereof, and that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary legal
proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of its
right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said property
for public park purposes .
