Resolution 9720 1 RESOLUTION NO. 9720 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE SIGNING OF VOUCHERS DRAWING ON FUNDS IN THE "METER ACCOUNT" OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That on and after the 1st day of March, 1958, all withdrawals of funds from the City of Miami Beach account in the MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK designated as the "Meter Account" shall be upon official vouchers duly prepared, bearing the said designation, with each voucher bearing two signatures , as follows: By R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk, or in his absence or inability to act for any reason By D. J. Cleary, as Deputy City Clerk, or in his absence or inability to act for any reason By W. B. Teddy, as Deputy City Clerk, countersigned By Morris N. Lipp, as City Manager, or in his absence or inability to act for any reason By Margaret L. MacKay, as Secretary, with the further provision that as to the said account, withdrawal of funds shall be upon regular City of Miami Beach checks which shall be printed on pink paper and shall bear two signatures manually signed as above set forth; or shall bear the facsimile signatures of R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk, and Morris N. Lipp, as City Manager, in the colors and with the background and other identifying symbols as imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION 2: That a certified copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Mercantile National Bank, Miami Beach, Florida. PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of February, A. D. 1958.
