Resolution 9735 RESOLUTION NO. 9735 BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the law firm of Sibley, Grusmark, Barkdull and King, be and it is hereby authorized to enter its appearance for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, jointly with the City Attorney, in the Chancery cases hereinbelow set forth, in each of which the City of Miami Beach is the defendant : Chancery Case No. 187544, wherein the plaintiffs, Ralph Lachman and Jean Lachman, seek to rezone Lots 13 and 14, Indian Beach Corporation Subdivision; Chancery Case No. 207046, wherein the plaintiffs, Robert L . Turchin, Maurice Rafkin and K. Chaachou, allege that their property is improperly zoned and that the referendum election repealing the City 's "H-1" amendment to the zoning ordinance is illegal and invalid; Chancery Case No. 208009, wherein the plaintiffs, Al N. Jappe, Samuel T. Haas and Thomas J. McGinty, as owners of Lots 2, 3, 10, 11 and the south half of Lot 12, First Ocean Front Subdivision, seek to rezone their property, and allege that the referendum election repealing the "H-1" ordinance is illegal and void; each of which cases hereinabove set forth is now pending in the Dade County Circuit Court; provided, however, that the City of Miami Beach shall be under no obligation to compensate said law firm for services rendered therein.
