Resolution 9736 RESOLUTION NO. 9736
WHEREAS, the United States Navy desires to use a
portion of a City-owned wharf for berthing the reserve training
ship U.S.S . McMinnville, and
WHEt(EAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be to the best interest of the City to enter into a
lease agreement with the Department of the Navy for such use, and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Department of the Navy, with the terms of which the City Council
is familiar, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
agrees to the terms and provisions of the said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and
the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the said lease agreement on behalf of and in the name of
said City.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, A.D. 1958.
