Resolution 9743 RESOLUTION NO. 9743
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City
and the inhabitants thereof, to acquire for the purpose of off-
the-street parking of automobiles for the use of said City and
its inhabitants the following described parcels of land situate,
lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to wit:
Parcel 1: Lots One (1) and Two (2) , Block D,
ATLANTIC HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 9 at page 14
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida;
Parcel 2: Lots Thirteen (13) to Sixteen (16)
inclusive, Block Twelve (12) , NORMANDY
BEACH SOUTH, according to the Plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 21 at
page 54 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida;
Parcel 3 : Lot Three (3) , Block Fourteen (14) ,
NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH, according to
the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 21 at page 54 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida;
Parcel 4: Lots Three (3) and Ten (10) , Block
Sixteen (16) , NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH,
according to the Plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book 21 at page 54 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is necessary that
the fee simple title to each of the above described properties
be acquired for use and maintenance for the purpose of off-the-
street parking of automobiles for the benefit of said City and
its inhabitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary
legal proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of
the right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said parcels
for said purpose .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of April, A.D. 1958.
