SUBJECT: Miami Beach Convention Center dvisory Board
The purpose of this Letter to the Commission (LTC) is to inform the Mayor and City Commission of a
motion passed by the Miami Beach Convention Center Advisory Board ("CCAB") during their
Tuesday, October 2, 2018 meeting.

MOTION : A motion to recommending that West 8 be asked to identify the featured plants being
installed in the Miami Beach Convention parks and further, that the Parks and Recreation Board
consider the names of these plants as potential names for the Main Convention Center Park and
the Northern Park renaming.
