Resolution 9789 RESOLUTION NO. 9789
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and the
inhabitants thereof, to acquire, for the purpose of off-the-
street parking of automobiles for the use of said City and its
inhabitants the following described lands situate, lying and
being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to wit:
All of that part of Tract B of "Amended
Plat of Lot 13, Block 32, LAKE VIEW
SUBDIVISION" Miami Beach, Florida, as
recorded in Plat Book 47 at page 105 of
the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the
Northerly line of West 47th Street, with
the Westerly line of Pine Tree Drive as
same is shown on a Plat entitled "Amended
Plat of Lot 13, Block 32, LAKE VIEW
SUBDIVISION, as recorded in Plat Book 47
at page 105, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, run in a Northerly
direction along the Westerly line of Pine
Tree Drive, along the arc of a circular
curve deflecting to the right, having for
its elements a central angle of 30-181 -55.76",
a radius of 1382.5 feet, a distance of 80
feet to a point, (chord of said curve making
an angle to the Northeast from the said
Northerly line of West 47th Street of
95°-04'-11 .73", a chord distance of 79.989
feet ) said point being the Point of
Beginning of the Tract of land herein
described;
Thence run in a Northwesterly direction
along a line deflecting to the left
89°-42 '-20.475" from the chord of the last
mentioned curve, along a line passing through
the center of a 30 foot radius circle in
alley, as shown on the above mentioned
recorded plat, a distance of 80.433 feet to
a point on the Easterly line of said alley
as above mentioned; thence run in a
Southwesterly direction along the Southeasterly
line of said alley, along the arc of a
circular curve deflecting to the right,
having for its elements a central angle of
40o-561-18.56", a radius of 30 feet a
distance of 21 .44 feet to a point, (chord
of said curve making an angle to the
Southwest from the last mentioned course
an angle of 1100-28 '-09.28", a chord
distance of 20.982 feet);
Thence run Easterly parallel to and 68.31
feet distant Northerly from the Northerly
line of West 47th Street, a distance of
11 .65 feet to a point;

Thence run Southerly along a line deflecting
90° to the right, along the Easterly line of
the property described in Deed Book 1706 at
page 342, and Deed Book 1367 at page 18 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, a
distance of 68.31 feet to the Northerly line
of West 47th Street; thence run Easterly along
the Northerly line of West 47th Street, along a
line deflecting 900-00 ' to the left, a
distance of 42.52 feet to the Point of Curvature
(P.C . ) of a circular curve; thence run in a
Northeasterly direction along the arc of a
circular curve deflecting to the left, having
for its elements a central angle of 85°-26 '-26", a
radius of 30 feet, an arc distance of 44.74 feet
to the Point of Reverse Curvature (P.R.C . ) of
a circular curve, (chord of said curve making
an angle of 137°-16 '-47" to the Northeast from
the North line of West 47th Street, a chord
distance of 40.705 feet) ;
Thence run Northeasterly along the Westerly
line of Pine Tree Drive, along the arc of a
circular curve deflecting to the right, having
for its elements a central angle of 20-10 '-05.61",
a radius of 1382.5 feet, a distance of 52.32 feet,
(chord of said curve being 52.314 feet) to the
Point of Beginning of the tract of land herein
described, containing 0.140 acres more or less .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITYOF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is necessary
that the feesimple title to the above-described property be
acquired for use and maintenance for the purpose of off-the-
street parking of automobiles for the benefit of said City and
its inhabitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary
legal proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of
the right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said- property
for said purpose . �
