Resolution 9793 RESOLUTION NO. 9793
WHEREAS, there now exists a City of Miami Beach account
in the Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach which is designated
"City of Miami Beach Auditorium Trust Account; and
WHEREAS, the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall will soon be in
full operation and revenue will be produced thereby; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida to have one account in which the
revenues of the Miami Beach Auditorium and the revenues of the
Miami Beach Exhibition Hall shall be mingled;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the name of the account
in the Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach now designated
"City of Miami Beach Auditorium Trust Account" shall be changed
and said account shall henceforth be designated "City of Miami Beach
Auditorium and Exhibition Hall Trust Account" and that there shall
be deposited therein all of the revenues from the Miami Beach
Auditorium and the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all withdrawal of funds
from said "City of Miami Beach Auditorium and Exhibition Hall
Trust Account" shall be made in the same manner as heretofore
provided by Resolution No . 8515 for withdrawal of funds from "City
of Miami Beach Auditorium Trust Account" .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
resolution be furnished the Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach
and that the City Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized to take such
steps as may be necessary to change the designation of said account
as hereinbefore provided.
