Resolution 9829 RESOLUTION NO . 9829
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida",
and the maps attached thereto and made a part thereof, so as
to amend that portion of Section 16 of said ordinance which
reads as follows :
"DISTRICT NO. 69. There shall be a rear
yard having a depth
of fifty (50) feet, measured from Collins
Avenue, and a side yard having a width of
not less than twenty (20) feet on either
(each) side of a building . "
so as to read as follows:
"DISTRICT NO. 71 . There shall be a rear
yard having a depth of
fifty (50) feet, measured from Collins
Avenue, and a side yard having a width of
not less than twenty (20) feet on either
(each) side of a building . "
and so as to place in said Area District No . 71 all of Lots
15, 16, 17, 20, 21 and 22 of Indian Beach Corporation 's
Subdivision, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat
Book 8, page 61 of the public records of Dade County, Florida,
except the portions of said lots which now lie in Area District
No . 43 and in the "Two-Story Cabana District", as said districts
are set forth and defined in said ordinance .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and
the same is hereby called to be held on the 3rd day of
September , 1958, at 12:00 o 'clock noon, in the
Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beac�i,— Florida, for the
consideration of said amendment .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by Public Notice thereof,
published in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general
circulation in said City.
