Resolution 9854 RESOLUTION NO. 9854
WHEREAS, 1238 NORMANDY DRIVE, INC . , a Florida
corporation,is willing to sell to the City of Miami Beach for the
sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) in cash, that certain
parcel of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida,
described as follows, to wit:
The southerly twenty-five feet (25 ' ) of that
portion of Tract Ten (10) NA of the revised
plat of portions of OCEAN SIDE SECTION and
TROUVILLE SECTION OF ISLE OF NORMANDY,
according to the plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 34+ at page 63 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, formerly
known as the southerly twenty-five feet (25 ' )
of Lots One (1) and Two (2) , Block Ten (10) ,
OCEAN SIDE SECTION, ISLE OF NORMANDY,
according to the plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 25 at page 60 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida;
and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has caused to be prepared
an agreement between the City and the said Owner, in which the
terms of said proposed sale are set forth and with which the
members of the City Council are familiar, and
WHEREAS the City Council deems it to be to the best
interest of the City to purchase said land for off-street parking
of automobiles upon the terms and conditions set forth in said
agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
agreement in the name of and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the disbursing officers
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make such
disbursements as are called for by said agreement out of funds
of the City available for such purpose .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of September, A.D. 1958.
