Resolution 9878 RESOLUTION NO. 9878
WHEREAS the operators of taxicabs within the City
of Miami Beach have requested an increase in the charge for
the time during which any taxicab shall be stopped and not
in motion for any reason whatsoever other than on account of
the inefficiency of such taxicab or the operator thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be
and the same is hereby called to consider amending the Code
of the City of Miami Beach so as to provide for an increase in
said charge, said hearing to be held in the Council Chambers of
City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, at 10:00 o 'clock a. m. , on the
5th day of November, 1958.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by Public Notice thereof,
published in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general
circulation in said City.
