HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-450 H-450
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-450 Alley between Jefferson Avenue and Michigan Avenue from
Tenth (10th) Street to Eleventh (11th) Street to be paved,
and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of
Twenty (20) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on an
eight (8) inch compacted rock base.
As said Alley, Avenues and Streets are shown on Plat re-
corded in Plat Book Two (2) , Page Eighty-one (81) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Jefferson Avenue and Michigan Avenue are named and de-
signated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superin-
tendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates , the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the
preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District H-450 and is des-
cribed as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the Alley
between Jefferson Avenue and Michigan Avenue and lying
between Tenth (10th) Street and Eleventh (11th) Street.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-450, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be de-
signated as District H-450.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November, A.D. 1958.
