Resolution 9944 RESOLUTION NO. 9944
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach", and the maps
attached thereto and made a part thereof so as to place the
easterly one hundred (100) feet of the following described
parcels of land situate in the City of Miami Beach, Dade
County, Florida, to wit:
Lot A; Lots One (1) to Six (6) ,
both inclusive, and Lots Thirteen
(13) to Twenty-three (23) , both
inclusive, all in INDIAN BEACH
CORPORATION SUBDIVISION, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 8 at page 61 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida;
AND
Lots One (1) to Thirty (30) , both
inclusive, and Lots Two Hundred
Thirty-one (231) to Two Hundred
Forty-five (245) , both inclusive,
all in FIRST OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 9 at page 78
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida;
AND
Lots One (1) to Eighteen (18) , both
inclusive, of Block One (1) , of
SECOND OCEAN FRONT SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 28 at page 28
of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida;
in an appropriate "Cabana and Swimming Pool District" or
"Two-Story Cabana District" as said districts are set forth and
defined in said ordinance; or to place the parcels of land
hereinabove described in an "Area District" existing, or to be
created, whereby there shall be required a front yard having a
depth of not less than one hundred (100) feet when measured
from the ocean,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be
and the same is hereby called to be held on the 4th day of
February, 1959, at 11:15 o' clock a.m. in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of
said amendment.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by Public Notice thereof,
published in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general
circulation in said City.
