Resolution 9946 RESOLUTION NO. 9946
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly
known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach", and the maps
attached thereto and made a part thereof so as to create a
"Height District" wherein the height of any building or
structure erected, constructed or reconstructed shall, in no
event, exceed one hundred and forty (140) feet, provided,
however, that necessary structural appurtenances such as
ventilation and elevator shafts may project vertically an
additional four (4) feet, and to place all lots fronting on
the ocean in such "Height District",
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be
and the same is hereby called to be held on the 4th day of
February, 1959, at 11:45 o' clock a.m. in the Council Chambers,
City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said
amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by Public Notice thereof,
published in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general
circulation in said City.
