SUBJECT: Evaluation Committee Relative to Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 2018-316-WG, for
Beachwide Food Trailer Program
The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Proposals (RFP) No. 2018-316-WG, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm(s) for a
beachwide food trailer program.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFP on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established in the
RFP.
I am considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Mark M. Milisits, Division Director, Tourism, Culture and Economic Development, City of
Miami Beach
• James Murphy, Chief of Urban Planning, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach
• John Ripple, Beach Maintenance, Parks Administration, City of Miami Beach
• Margarita Wells, Assistant Director, Environment & Sustainability Department, City of Miami
Beach
I am also considering the following individuals as alternates:
• Justin Karr, Real Estate Asset Specialist, Tourism, Culture and Economic Development, City
of Miami Beach
• Fernanda Sotelo, Principal Planner, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach
