Resolution 9966 RESOLUTION NO. 9966
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as
the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida", and the maps
attached thereto and made a part thereof, so as to exclude from
the "RE" Multiple-Family District and to include in the "BB"
Business District, and in an appropriate Area District, as said
districts are set forth and defined in said ordinance, that
certain parcel of land situate in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, described as follows, to wit:
Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, OCEAN SIDE SECTION,
ISLE OF NORMANDY, according to the Plat thereof
recorded in Plat Book 25 at page 60 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
Less that certain portion of said Lot 12
bounded as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 12;
thence run westerly along the southerly line
of said Lot 12 a distance of 210 feet, more
or less, to a point, said point being the
easterly point of curvature of the curve at the
southwesterly corner of said Lot 12; thence run
northeasterly a distance of 202 feet, more or
less, to a point on the northeasterly line of
said Lot 12, said point being 15 feet northerly
of the southerly line of said Lot 12, said 15
feet being measured at right angles to the
southerly line of said Lot 12; thence run
southeasterly along the northeasterly line of
said Lot 12, a distance of 17 feet, more or
less, to the point of beginning;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and
the same is hereby called to be held on the 18th day of February,
1959, at 11:15 o' clock a.m. , in the Council Chambers, City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days' notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by Public Notice thereof, published
in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in
said City.
