HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvoneit is
hereby ore.ered to bf.. ma e; tr c Cit7 hexeby sotts sotsforth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of tne City
Charter:
H-457 Eightieth (80th) Street from Tatum Waterway Drive to
Collins Avenue to be paved, and where heretofore paved
to be repaved to a width of Thirty-nine (39) feet with
a bituminous wearing surface on a Ten (10) inch rock
base, and improved on both sides with concrete curb and
gutter.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catch basins.
As said Street, Drive and Avenue are shown on Flats
recorded in Plat Book Forty-six (46) , Page Two (2) ,
Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one- (41) , and Plat
Book Thirty-one (31) , Page Forty (40) of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and-as said Eightieth
(80th) Street is named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specir_ications of said Improvement and an
estimate of the cost therec`, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the nrtnting and p ubli,ction of notices and
proceedings, the prepara.ti��.i of bonds, ,nt .. ,st during construction,
le7,al services, abstracts e'_a. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Imbror'ement is hereby designated as District H- 457 ,and
is described as follows :
All of the Lots or Parcels of land abutting on Eightieth
(80th) Street and lying between Tatum Waterway Drive and
Collins Avenue
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings,assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-457 , and the property agaitst
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H- 457 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 4th DAY OF February, A.D.1959 .
