SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-245 DISTRICT SK-245
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following dcscrned Improvement is
heresy ordered to be made; the City Council h;.reby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
SK-245 A Five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides of
Seventy-eighth (78th) Street from Dickens Avenue to
Collins Avenue.
As said Street, Drive, Avenue, are
shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book 8, Page 41, and
Plat Book 31, Page 40, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said 78th Street is named
and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, tl-e preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such Improvement is hereby designated as District SK-245
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
78th Street and lying between Dickens Avenue and
Collins Avenue.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings,assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-245 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District Sk- 245.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 4th DAY OF February, A.D.1959
