SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-249 DISTRICT SK-249
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following descrnrd Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council be? eby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 anti 30 of the City
Charter:
SK-249 A Five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides of
Eighty-second (82nd) Street from Harding Avenue to
Collins Avenue; both sides of 82nd Street from Byron
Avenue to Abbott Avenue, and both sides of 82nd Terrace
from Byron Avenue to Abbott Avenue.
As said Streets, Terrace and Avenues are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book 41, Page 2, Plat Book 40,
Page 58, and Plat Book 31, Page 40, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said 82nd
Street is named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation Cf plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts etc. , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estim-ped amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such Improvement is hereby designated as District SK-249
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on 82nd
Street and lying between Harding Avenue and Collins
Avenue and abutting on 82nd Street and 82nd Terrace
and lying be.tweben Byrpn Avenue an Abbott Avenue.
This Improvement -sha e signate in ail procee ings,assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-249 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District Sk- 249.
