SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT SK-253 DISTRICT SK-253
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hcyeby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 anti 30 of the City
Charter:
SK-253 A Five (5) Foot concrete sidewalk on the Southerly
side of Eighty-Seventh (87) Terrace, and on both
sides of Eighty-Seventh (87) Street, from Collins
Avenue to a point at or near One Hundred Seventy-
Five (175) Feet Westerly of Collins Avenue.
As said Street, Terrace and Avenues are shown on
Plat recorded in Plat Book Four (4) , Page One Hundred
Sixty-Two (162) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Eighty-Seventh (87) Street is named
and designated in Ordinance No. 232, and as said Eighty-
Seventh (87) Terrace is named and designated in Ordinance
No. 359
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts etc . , and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such Improvement is hereby designated as District SK- 253
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the
Southerly side of Eighty-Seventh (87) Terrace and
both sides of Eighty-Seventh (87) Street lying between
