Resolution 10116 RESOLUTION NO. 10116 WHEREAS the Board of Public Instruction of Dade County, Florida has requested the City of Miami Beach to grant unto it, its successors and assigns, the perpetual right to lay and maintain a ten inch (10") diameter or other appropriate size storm drain under and in the following described land situated in Dade County, State of Florida, to wit: Begin at the intersection of the southerly line of Block 24, Nautilus Extension Fourth, and the westerly line of North Meridian Avenue as shown on a plat recorded in Plat Book 40 at page 68 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; thence run northwesterly along the southerly line of said Block 24, a distance of 286.5 feet; thence southwesterly at right angles to the southerly line of said Block 24, a distance of 5 feet; thence southeasterly along a line parallel to and five feet southerly of the said southerly line of Block 24, a distance of 286.5 feet more or less, to a point on the westerly line of said North Meridian Avenue, thence northerly along the said westerly line of North Meridian Avenue a distance of 5 feet, more or less, to the Point of Beginning; and for use as a means of access, ingress, and egress for the purpose of connecting roof drains and the area drains of Nautilus Junior High to the City storm sewer located in North Meridian Avenue, north of West 42nd Street; and WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach deems it to be to the best interest of the said City to grant said easement for said purposes; and WHEREAS a deed has been duly prepared granting said easement, the City Council being familiar with the terms thereof; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver the said deed in the name of and on behalf of said City.
