Resolution 10129 RESOLUTION NO. 10129
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
has heretofore authorized the City of Miami Beach to enter into
a lease with Roosevelt Corporation as lessee, which lease is
dated October 17, 1956 and demises a small triangular portion
of land adjacent to the Roosevelt Theater Building on Arthur
Godfrey Road in the City of Miami Beach, an exact description
of which is contained in the said lease, and
WHEREAS the lessee has requested the City to renew
the said lease for a period of two years terminating at midnight
of April 30, 1961, and
WHEREAS it is deemed to be to the best interest of
the City to renew the said lease, and
WHEREAS an instrument renewing the said lease has
been prepared, with the terms of which the City Council is
familiar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized to execute the above described
renewal of lease agreement on behalf of the City of Miami Beach.
