RESOLUTION NO. 10148
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of March, 1959
Buick Motors Division of General Motors Corporation entered
into a lease agreement with the City of Miami Beach for the
rental of the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach
Exhibition Hall for the period from September 13 through
September 17, 1959, and
WHEREAS the said Buick Motors Division of the General
Motors Corporation desires to change the date for the rental of
the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall
from the aforesaid period of September 13 through September 17,
1959, inclusive, to the period of October 1 to October 3, 1959,
inclusive, and
WHEREAS there has been prepared a lease agreement
for the period from October 1 to October 3, 1959, inclusive,
with the terms of which the City Council is familiar, and
WHEREAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of
the said City to enter into the said agreement which supersedes
the agreement covering the period from September 13 to September
17, 1959, inclusive,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute in the name of
and in behalf of the City of Miami Beach the lease agreement
with Buick Motors Division of the General Motors Corporation
for the use of the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach
Exhibition Hall for the period of October 1 to October 3 , 1959,
inclusive.
