HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That the construction of the following described improve-
ment is hereby ordered to be made; the City Council here-
by setting forth its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of
the City Charter:
H-472 Bay Drive from Brest Esplanade to Rue Versailles to be
paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a
width of Fifty-six (56) feet with a bituminous wearing
surface on a Ten (10) inch rock base, and improved on
both sides with concrete curb and gutter.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catch basins.
As said Bay Drive, Brest Esplanade, and Rue Versailles
are shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book Twenty-five (25)
Page Sixty (60) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an esti-
mate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceed-
ings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construction, legal
services , abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District H-472 and is des-
cribed as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Bay Drive
and lying between Brest Esplanade and Rue Versailles.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-472 and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be de-
signated as District H-472.
SECTION 2: That Resolution No. 8900, passed and adopted on the 16th
day of March, 1955, ordering Highway Improvement H-411,
Bay Drive from 71st Street to Rue Versailles , be and the same is
hereby rescinded and repealed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th DAY OF August, A.D. 1959.
