Resolution 10170 RESOLUTION NO. 10170
WHEREPS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, by Resolution No . 10138, heretofore passed and adopted
on the 17th day of June, 1959, has authorized the issuance of
$5,9 +2,000.00 of negotiable coupon bonds of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, dated September 1, 1959; and
WHEREAS, said bonds were, on the 22nd day of July, 1959,
validated by decree of the Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial
Circuit of Florida in and for Dade County; and
WHEREAS, the statutes of the State of Florida require that
"Bonds or certificates, when validated under the provisions of this
chapter (Chapter 75), shall have stamped or written thereon, by
the proper officers of such county, municipality or district
issuing the same, a statement in substantially the following form:
'This bond is one of a series of bonds which were validated
and confirmed by decree of the Circuit Court of the
Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida, in and for
County, rendered on 19 ' "; and
WHEREAS, no designation was made in said Resolution
No . 10138 of the officer of the City who would sign the certificate
required by law as hereinbefore set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the facsimile signature of
R. Wm. L. JOHNSON, the City Clerk of said City, be appended to said state-
menti:- each of said bonds .
