Resolution 10178 RESOLUTION NO. 10178
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the
Clerk and Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held
on August 11, 1959 for the purpose of electing a Trustee of
the Miami Beach Employees Retirement System from Group 1 of the
employees of the City of Miami Beach, in accordance with the
provisions of Resolution No. 10169, as passed and adopted by
the City Council on the 5th day of August, 1959, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns
and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
said City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as the
result of said Primary Election, and do hereby declare the
member from Group 1 elected as Trustee to the Miami Beach
Employees Retirement System to be as follows :
GROUP 1 : G. W. ROBERTS, JR. (Elected by 34 votes
out of 49 cast, being
a clear majority at
the Primary Election)
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of August, A.D. 1959.
