HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-474 Alley between Alton Road and West Avenue from 6th Street to
a point at or near 290 feet Southerly of 6th Street to be
paved and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a width
of fifteen (15) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on
an eight (8) inch rock base.
As said Alley, Alton Road, Sixth Street and West Avenue are
shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book 21, Page 83 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said Improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings , the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services , abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such Improvement is hereby designated as District H-474, and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the Alley
between Alton Road and West Avenue and lying between
6th Street and a point at or near 290 feet southerly of
6th Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-474, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-474.
