Resolution 10201 RESOLUTION NO. 10 201
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach is desirous of
employing the services of a person capable of handling
responsible public relations work in connection with conventions
to be held in the City of Miami Beach, under the designation of
"Convention Assistant", and
WHEREAS the City Council, after investigation and
interview, is satisfied with the qualifications of WILLIAM J.
BRANNAGAN as a Convention Assistant, and
WHEREAS the City Attorney has prepared an agreement
for employment of the said WILLIAM J. BRANNAGAN in the position
of convention assistant, with the terms of which agreement the
City Council is familiar, and
WHEREAS it is deemed to be to the best interests of
the City of Miami Beach to enter into the said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the said agreement for and in behalf of the City of
Miami Beach, and the appropriate financial and disbursing officials
of the City of Miami Beach be and they are hereby directed to pay
and disburse the sum or sums to the said WILLIAM J. BRANNAGAN as
specified and set forth in said agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1959.
