Resolution 10204 RESOLUTION NO. 10204
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach and the Town of
Bal Harbour heretofore entered into an agreement pertaining
to sewage collection and disposal, and
WHEREAS said agreement expired on the 31st day of
October, 1956, and
WHEREAS said agreement was thereafter continued for
such period until a new agreement could be negotiated and
prepared for execution by the parties, and
WHEREAS such agreement has been made and prepared
whereby the said Town of Bal Harbour agrees to pay to the City
of Miami Beach the sum of $3,980.00 per annum as a minimum
charge, and in addition thereto agrees to pay an amount equal
to 1 per 1,000 gallons of sewage, which additional sum shall
be payable monthly, and
WHEREAS said agreement is for a period of five
years commencing September 2, 1959, and
WHEREAS said agreement sets forth other provisions
with which the City Council is familiar,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the said agreement for and in the name of the City of
Miami Beach.
