RESOLUTION NO. 10208
WHEREAS, on the 14thday of April, 1959,
United Cerebral Palsy Association of Miami, Inc. entered into a
lease agreement with the City of Miami Beach for the rental of
the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach Auditorium for
the period of January 16 and 17, 1960, inclusive, and
WHEREAS the said United Cerebral Palsy Association
of Miami, Inc. desires to change the date for the rental of the
premises and facilities of the Miami Beach Auditorium from the
aforesaid January 16 and 17, 1960 to March 5 and March 6, 1960,
and
WHEREAS there has been prepared a lease agreement for
the period of March 5, 1960 and March 6, 1960, with the terms of
which the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is
familiar, and
WHEREAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of the
City of Miami Beach to enter into the said agreement which
supersedes the agreement covering the period of January 16 and
January 17, 1960,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute, in the name of
and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, the lease agreement
with the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Miami, Inc. for the
use of the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach Auditorium
for the period from March 5, 1960 to March 6, 1960 .
