Resolution 10226 6 RESOLUTION NO. 10226 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 10173 passed and adopted on the 19th day of August, 1959, and the Mayor and the City Clerk thereafter did execute an agreement with Frank B. Brickman whereby said Frank B. Brickman was employed in the capacity of "Inspector of Kosher Foods" for a period of two years at an annual compensation of $6,000 .00 payable in equal monthly installments of $500 .00, and WHEREAS, thereafter the unclassified and classified employees of the City of Miami Beach received an average of 5% increase in their compensation, effective October 1, 1959, and WHEREAS the exclusion of the said Frank B. Brickman from a like increase in compensation would be inequitable and not in the best interest of the City of Miami Beach, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to prepare, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute, an appropriate amendment to the said existing agreement so as to provide that the annual compensation payable to the said Frank B. Brickman shall be $6,300 .00 payable in equal monthly installments of $525.00; said agreement otherwise to remain in full force and effect.
