RESOLUTION NO. 10235
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City and the
inhabitants thereof, to acquire for the purpose of off-street
parking of automobiles for the use of said City and its inhabitants
the following described parcel of land situate, lying and being in
Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to wit:
Lots 7 and 8, Block 73, OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NO. 3,
according to the Plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 2 at page 81 of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is necessary that the fee
simple title to the above described property be acquired for use
and maintenance for the purpose of off-street parking of automobiles
for the benefit of said City and its inhabitants, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized to conduct all reasonable negotiations for the
purchase thereof, and in the event of the failure thereof that the
City Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
institute the necessary legal proceedings in the name of said City
in the exercise of the right of eminent domain for the condemnation
of said parcel for said purpose.
