RESOLUTION NO. 10251
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day of September, 1959 the Miami
Beach Police and Firemen's Benevolent Association entered
into a lease agreement with the City of Miami Beach for the
rental of the premises and facilities of the Miami Beach
Auditorium for Sunday, February 21, 1960, and
WHEREAS the said Miami Beach Police and Firemen's
Benevolent Association desires to change the premises and
facilities from the Miami Beach Auditorium to the Miami Beach
Exhibition Hall for Sunday, February 21, 1960, and
WHEREAS there has been prepared a lease agreement for
Sunday, February 21, 1960 for the premises and facilities of
the Miami Beach Exhibition Hall, with the terms of which the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is familiar,
and
WHEREAS it is deemed to be in the best interests of the
City of Miami Beach to enter into the said agreement which
supersedes the agreement covering the premises and facilities
of the Miami Beach Auditorium,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to execute, in the
name of and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, the lease
agreement with the Miami Beach Police and Firemen' s Benevolent
Association for the use of the premises and facilities of the
Miami Beach Exhibition Hall for Sunday, February 21, 1960 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of January, 1960 .
