Resolution 10273 RESOLUTION NO. 10273
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City
and the inhabitants thereof to acquire, for the purpose of off
the street parking of automobiles, that certain parcel of land
situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida,
described as follows, to wit:
Lots 1 and 2 and the southerly
twenty (20) feet of Lot 3, Block
16, OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY OF THE
MIAMI BEACH IMPROVEMENT COMPANY,
according to the amended plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 5,
pages 7 and 8 of the public records
of Dade County, Florida .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is necessary that
the fee simple title to the above described property be acquired
for use and maintenance for the purpose of off the street parking
of automobiles for the benefit of said City and its inhabitants.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney and Attorney
Ben Shepard be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
institute the necessary legal proceedings in the name of said
City in the exercise of its right of eminent domain for the
condemnation of said property for said purpose .
