RESOLUTION NO. 10278
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said City
and the inhabitants thereof to acquire, for the purpose of
off-the-street parking of automobiles, those certain parcels
of land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, described as follows, to wit:
Lots 7 and 8, Block 73, OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NO. 3,
according to the plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
2, page 81 of the public records of Dade County,
Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is necessary that the fee
simple title to the above described property be acquired for
use and maintenance for the purpose of off-the---street parking
of automobiles for the benefit of said City and its inhabitants.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney and Attorney
Ben Shepard be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
institute the necessary legal proceedings in the name of said
City in the exercise of its right of eminent domain for the
condemnation of said property for said purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 10th day of February, A.D. 1960.
