Resolution 10329 RESOLUTION NO. 10329 WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida", and the maps attached thereto and made a part thereof, so as to set forth in Section 1 thereof a definition of the term "restaurant", and, if deemed necessary, appropriate or desirable, to include in such definition ,.n..,,,., minimum requirements as to seating capacity for the guests thereof, and the minimum roofed-in floor area required to be provided for dining tables and chairs in the room or portion of the building wherein food is served to guests; and to further include in such definition, if deemed necessary, appropriate or desirable, minimum requirements for off-street parking, and to place restaurants, as the same shall be defined, in such appropriate Use District or Districts as may be deemed necessary, appropriate or desirable; and to include in such definition, if deemed necessary, appropriate or desirable, minimum requirements as to the seating capacity for patrons, and roofed-in floor area required to be provided for dining tables and chairs in the room, or portion of the buildinguherein food is served to guests so as to qualify for licenses for the sale of beer, wine, or liquor, as defined in Chapter 15 of "The Code of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, 1950" ; for consumption on the premises, and to place all other establishments wherein refreshments, or meals, may be procured by the public and where the chief business is the furnishing of eatables to be consumed on the premises, but not meeting the requirements of the definition of "restaurant", to be adopted; in such appropriate Use District or Districts as may be deemed necessary, appropriate or desirable, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a public hearing be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 18th day of May, 1960, at 11:15 o ' clock a.m. , in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days ' notice of the time, place and object of said hearing by public notice thereof, published in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in said City.
