RESOLUTION NO. 10347
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution
No. 10344, a public hearing was held by the City Council on
June 22, 1960, to consider the application of the Miami
Beach Railway Company for the establishment of a new ex-
press bus line upon described routes for a fare of 25 per
passenger, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has heard all interested
parties appearing at said hearing and has duly considered
the matters and things adduced thereat,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it duly resolved that the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, finds and determines
it is in the best interests of the City of Miami Beach, its
residents and inhabitants, that the said application be
granted and that the Miami Beach Railway Company be and
it is hereby authorized to establish a new express bus
route to traverse the following route, as follows: Be-
ginning at a point on Collins Avenue at approximately 46th
Street, running south on Indian Creek Drive and Collins
Avenue to Lincoln Road; running west on Lincoln Road to
Alton Road, and continuing north on Alton Road to Dade
Boulevard, thence over the Venetian Causeway to Miami (ex-
press from Lincoln and Alton Roads to Miami) , and that said
Miami Beach Railway Company is authorized to establish a
fare of 25c per passenger for such carriage and transporta-
tion.
