RESOLUTION NO. 10365
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach and the Town of
Surfside desire to enter into an agreement whereby the City
of Miami Beach will render water service to the Town of
Surfside, and
WHEREAS such agreement has been prepared whereby the
Town of Surfside agrees to pay to the City of Miami Beach
the sum of twenty-five cents (25 ) for each one thousand
(1,000) gallons used through the master water meter at the
point of delivery by the City of Miami Beach to the Town of
Surfside, such sums to be due and owing by the Town of Surfside
on the tenth day of each month, and subject to a 5% cash
discount if paid on or before the 20th day of the month in
which the bill for water services is rendered, and
WHEREAS said agreement may be terminated by either
party by the giving of six (6) months ' notice in writing, and
WHEREAS the said agreement sets forth other provisions
with which the City Council of the City of Miami Beach is
familiar, and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach
deems it to be to the best interests of the City to enter into
such agreement with the Town of Surfside,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
he and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
said agreement for and in the name of the City of Miami Beach.
