Resolution 10370 RESOLUTION NO. 10370
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach has heretofore widened
that portion of Collins Avenue lying between 24th and 25th Streets,
and
WHEREAS, at the time of said widening, in consideration
of the conveyance to said City of certain lands adjoining Collins
Avenue on the east, the City, at its expense filled and
bulkheaded a narrow strip of submerged land adjoining the
easterly shore of Lake Pancoast, which said strip of submerged
land includes that certain parcel marked "Parcel 3 " and shown
on sketch dated November 13, 1959, prepared by H. A. Schuler Jr. ,
Registered Land Surveyor, with which sketch the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach is familiar, and
WHEREAS the City Council of said City has been requested
to evidence to the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of
the State of Florida, that said "Parcel 3" is not required for
municipal purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH that the land shown on said sketch and
marked "Parcel 3 " is riot required for municipal purposes.
