Event: Parks & Recreation Food Drive
Date: The entire month of November
Location: Flamingo Park P.A.L (999 11th Street), North Shore Park Youth Center (501
72nd Street), Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Avenue)
Throughout the month of November, we welcome the community to bring in any perishable
items to be donated to those in need during the holiday season.
Event: Social Club Thanksgiving Party (ages 14+ with developmental disabilities)
Date: Saturday, November 17, 2018
Time: 1:30 p.m. — 3:30 p.m.
Location: North Shore Park Youth Center (501 72nd Street)
Program participants and their families are invited to come and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving
Feast with all the trimmings. Participants will socialize and give thanks for all of their blessings.
Event: Play Time Program Thanksgiving Pot Luck Feast
Date: Tuesday, November 20, 2018
Time: 10:00 a.m. — 12:00 p.m.
Location: Scott Rakow Youth Center (2700 Sheridan Avenue), North Shore Park Youth
Center (501 72nd Street)
The participants enrolled in the Play Time Program along with their families, will be enjoying a
Thanksgiving Pot Luck where they will spend quality time together sharing what they are most
grateful for.
