RESOLUTION NO. 10455
WHEREAS the City of Miami Beach has heretofore leased
to the United Statesof America those certain premises known as
450 Alton Road, and more commonly known as the old Chamber of
Commerce Building, for a period of one year ending April 30,
1961, and
WHEREAS said lease provides that the Lessee may have
the option of renewing said lease at least thirty days prior
to the expiration thereof, and
WHEREAS the requirements, needs, and best interests of
the City of Miami Beach render it necessary to terminate said
lease at the expiration of the original thereof, to wit, April 30,
1961,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to give due and proper notice
to the United States of America that the City of Miami Beach
has elected to terminate said lease at the expiration date thereof,
to wit, April 30, 1961.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 1961.
