RESOLUTION NO. 10421
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary for the welfare of said City and
the inhabitants thereof, to acquire for off-street parking
purposes, for the use of said City and its inhabitants, the
following described land situate, lying and being in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, to wit:
Lot 8, Block 6, BEACH BAY SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book 44 at page 25 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that it is
necessary that the fee simple title to the above described
property be acquired for use and maintenance for off-street
parking purposes for the benefit of said City and its inhabitants.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to negotiate for the purchase
of the said property, and in the event that the said negotiations
are unsuccessful, then
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to institute the necessary
legal proceedings in the name of said City in the exercise of
the right of eminent domain for the condemnation of said property
for said purpose.
